simply check the amount of LUMENS emitted by the lights and how many lumens neede to light yer barn to the degree of light you want....

No need to guess.... Thumbs Up Great deal!!!

I had no intention of leaving the house on this dreary and cold Black Friday, but my wife made the mistake last night of mentioning that our local discount hardware store had a deal going on shop lights - the LED variety - where I could buy one for $15 and receive a $15 gift card for use on any future purchases. Wow! Great timing since they were on my list of things to buy soon anyway.

"Is there a quantity limit?" I asked.

"Not that I can see," she responded.

So I chased out this morning, and that was the first question I had upon entering the store.

"You can only buy six," the store employee said.

Okay, six isn't bad. But when I got to the register I wanted to know if I could open one of the packages to make sure that the light had a standard plug on it. I didn't want to buy six shop lights only to find that they had to be returned.

"They do," I was told. "One is on display right here. So, how many did you want?"

"Oh, I would take 10," I said. "But the limit is six."

"No problem," the cashier advised. "We will just ring up four more in a second transaction." So accommodating!

This wasn't a bad way to spend a morning, I guess. I just bought $150 worth of LED shop lights and they cost me zero (The gift cards are almost as good as cash back since it's a store I regularly visit.) Ten lights might even meet my barn requirement.
