It's in the 40s right now and raining. I'm hoping that it melts off the last of the snow.

By noon, we'll have 17 mph winds and temps in the upper 30s. That'll bite (in more ways than one). If the snow is gone, I'll load the flatbed and haul another 50 boxes or so to the barn. I've gotta make space in this house, and there aren't too many days anymore where that's possible. When there's rain or snow on either driveway, forget it.

Sunday, 1 to 3 inches of snow are expected. Monday, 3 to 5 inches. It's four days away, though, and the forecast will probably change.

Everything considered, we've had a warm and relatively mild November. I'm not counting on that to continue. January and February are the months people worry about.
