Realist - Everybody in America is soft, and hates conflict. The cure for this, both in politics and social life, is the same -- hardihood. Give them raw truth.

...I had an asshole exactly like that on a landing craft with me when we went into nam. He ordered me to leave my gear behind and carry his golf clubs. I was so pissed off that I didn't say anything for fear I would say too much and wind up in the brig. What I wanted to tell him was, "I am a United States Marine, not your fuckin caddy! Carry your own golf clubs." Him and guys just like him were instrumental in the invention of "fragging".
