There's a BIG problem with that, micro ... New York treats gun owners as the most heinous of all criminals. A New Yorker could save an entire elementary school of children from armed assailants with a privately owned firearm, and New York would do everything short of executing the heroic citizen, while giving the real criminals a slap on the wrist.

if the people who enacted such legislation can be held responsible and liable for one of these so called harmless criminals, that may cause those elitists who live with protection and behind walls to rethink that. The problem is that none of these morons has ANY skin in the game or at stake so there is no deterrent to stuff like this in this state or any other....
