Decomposed > do ANY of you know a gay child who had conventional parents

I can't say as I've known very many gay people and
their families . . . But, once upon a time I was
married . . .

And the creature I had made the mistake of marrying
had a brother who was gay. And in the Navy. Three
gay squids sharing an apartment.

My (now ex) monster-in-law was a piece of work. She
was on at least her second husband and I didn't see much
of him. My now ex and her momma were experts in finding
ways to abuse the guys in their lives. One sister-in-law
was a card carrying member of the clan.

Oddly enough, another sister-in-law had married a decent
guy and moved to the other end of the city. They was
normal and good peoples.

Once I had it beaten through my thick skull that I had made
a monumental mistake I separated from and divorced myself
from that creature.

Since "LGBTQ(XYZ)" discussions occupy so much of our society's attention, I find myself thinking about it every now and then. This is one of those times.

As a former theater dad, I've met more than my share of mentally ill kids. These include numerous gay boys/men, lesbian girls/women, a surgically mutilated girl who now calls herself "Zack," a physically normal girl who now calls herself "Casey," and a large number of their similarly-inclined friends.

It dawned on me today that in every case where I've met their parents, the mother is clearly dominant. In EVERY case, there's either a meek or absent or "weird" father.

I know some of you believe homosexuality to be primarily a biological phenomenon. I agree that it CAN be. But I'm curious - do ANY of you know a gay child who had conventional parents (And by that, I mean ones who assumed the traditional dominant-father / submissive-mother roles)? It's got to happen, but I have a feeling that most homosexuality is caused by the role models these children had when they were raised. Of course, in a society that tries to intimidate and censor anyone with politically incorrect thoughts, you aren't likely to find any studies or polls that support the theory.
