May I please have your physician's phone number so I can report you?

Naughty, naughty, naughty, and I'm pissed.

Knock it off.

For the first time, I hauled a considerable amount of junk to the barn, starting with the three massive shelving units my wife found this week. I was concerned that the flatbed trailer might bottom out where the steep driveway meets the street. It didn't. I got out of the truck to observe while my wife drove up the driveway. I'm happy to say that it wasn't even close! This bodes well for our chances of getting the two travel trailers up there when it's time.

We plan to do several more loads on Saturday and Sunday. The weather looks like it will be favorable (dry and in the 40s.)

On the down side, I walked up from the street to the barn and really struggled. I don't know when I've ever felt my heart pounding so hard - and I was going slowly. I felt old.

Even though I suspect the medication I'm on was responsible (it has lowered my resting heart rate to just 52 beats per minute), thoughts of my own mortality loom large. I honestly can't wait for next month's surgery. Whatever the outcome, I want to get it over with.
