must be why science took so long to realize if ya bleed the blood outa someone to cure them all they did was kill the person when if they would have read their Bible they would have found out a long time ago ya ca't do that.....

I will have to agree to disagree withya De on yer belief that scripture is full of HINTS and is not literally true.

TRUTH comes from God. GOD is TRUTH. HIS WORDS, which come from here are therefor true also. Hence, the WORDS of God are true.

It's a matter of accepting the basis for salvation by grace through faith and that not of yourselves. It is the gift of GOD, not of man, lest any man should boast....

Chr ist spoke often of the written word and chastised the Biblical scholars of the day, the Pharisees over their lack of understanding of the scriptures.

It's okay. You are not the first doubter I have ever encountered.

This is an example of something in the Bible that is not literally true. The moon is not a light. It is a piece of rock that we can see at night if it is lit up.

That's why I don't buy into the line that thorough and accurate explanations are found in the Bible. I will agree that quality HINTS are there. The Bible is more like a high level roadmap on how to lead one's life, but not a detailed instruction manual and it is often not literal.

Science is striving to come up with the practical, literal details the Bible omits.
