LSU defeated Alabama AT Alabama.
It took a far less than mobile QB for Alabama and several blatant mistakes by various Albama players for LSU to pull off the win.
And even then, it almost was not enough...
Burrow is a good QB for LSU. I do not believe he is a great QB. Bama's defense let that kid pass all game with almost no pressure or being on the run...
That said, kudos to the LSU offensive skilled players and their offensive linemen. They were superb.
I think the two teams are fairly evenly matched. I also think a health QB for Bama would have made a huge difference in that game. HGe only had one good leg and could not run or move on the one with the broken ankle 2 weeks after surgery...
The Pro spread offense employed by rthe former New Orleans Saints coach seems to be giving defenses real problems... The BAMA defense looked like they ad not watched ANY game film...
Oh well, at the top it is going to be LSU, Ohio State and likely CLemson. I don;t know who gets the fourth spot but likely Alabama. I would love to see a rematch of those two team at a neutral site with a healthy Tua at QB for Bama. Kind of an unfair matchup....
The DAWgS could snag the 4 position in the playoffs as well.
ALL dependent on the Buckeyes beating Penn STate and Michigan in back to back games, and then likely playing Missesota for the Big Ten championship. They are pretty good this year too.
