This would be a shirt I would purchase. I like everything about it except one WORD.
Can you guess what that one word change should be???
Drum roll please.................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................
I kneel for the cross should say
I kneel AT the Cross
Yeah I know. I am a bit picky. I'm old. What can I say.
I KNEEL AT the CROSS because when we come to GOD in Prayer BY the HOLY SPIRIT and have access BECAUSE of what Christ accomplished for us UPON THAT Cross , (direct access to the Living GOD THROUGH HIM and BY HIS SHED BLOOD), and that work of Christ is COMPLETE and FINISHED, we can look back AT THAT CROSS and remember (do this is remembrance of ME) what HE did out of Divine Love for HIS creation after His own likeness (image) so that WE could be forgiven of ur sins and God the FATHER'S JUSTICE would be Satisfied and the DEBT of our sins PAID IN FULL.
This is looking back AT what took place and is FINISHED.
We do not want to keep HANGING JESUS BACK UP on the Cross! WE WANT to COME before HIM at the THRONE He sits upon reigning and ruling in majesty because of WHO HE IS and WHAT HE HAS DONE for us all.
We look BACK AT that finished work and fall to our knees and worship HIM.
We do not worship the CROSS. We worship HIM who was NAILED to that Cross with SPIKES, WILLINGLY, and suffered, bled, and died , and ROSE AGAIN on the third day according to the scriptures. (prophecy fulfilled)
May be a small nit to pick, but it is important to me.
DO NOT let an image of a Roman Cross become your IDOL.
We see an empty Cross and more so, an EMPTY TOMB and a 14 TON STONE rolled away with a Roman Squadron of Guards there to make sure nobody came to steal the body. WHO rolled away the Boulder with the Guard there?
I believe it was Angels or The risen Lord Himself could simply have spoke or willed that stone to move.
Remember.
Itis appointed unto ALL men ONCE to Die,
and after this, the Judgment.
We look back at the empty cross and grave and rejoice in the power of the risen Savior who gives us Salvation through Redemption purchased at Calvary by HIS Blood and his own life...
Hallelujah for the Risen Savior...
