Goodbye

McCartney wrote this but gave it to Mary Hopkin (best known for 'Those Were They Days' - which Paul McCartney produced). It reached #2 in England. It would have reached #1 but for the Beatles' own 'Get Back.'

Sour Milk Sea

This strays from the topic a bit in that it was written by George Harrison but was given to Jackie Lomax in 1968 to help launch the Beatles' new 'Apple' recording label. The song features notables Harrison, Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, Eric Clapton and Nicky Hopkins.
