Sour Milk Sea

This strays from the topic a bit in that it was written by George Harrison but was given to Jackie Lomax in 1968 to help launch the Beatles' new 'Apple' recording label. The song features notables Harrison, Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, Eric Clapton and Nicky Hopkins.

McCartney recorded Come and Get It in 1969, when he arrived early for an Abbey Road session. He laid down the lead vocals and piano on track one, sang backup and played maracas on track 2, then played bass and drums on successive overdubs. He finished in less than an hour. When 'The Iveys' - later known as 'Badfinger' - requested the song for a movie, McCartney agreed on the condition that they not change it. They agreed and McCartney ultimately produced their song.
