De
Thanks for the update. If you had ANY modesty at all you won't after the angiogram.
I am very sad to hear about the procedure being the old fashioned way, splitting your chest open. Justthe SOUND of that verbage makes me shudder.
You do realize of course that your Thanksgiving AND Christmas are not going to be enjoyed by you this year?
That's a shame... I feel for ya De. Better be coming up with a plan for the pain meds you will actually need to help after this is done....
This is one of those good news/ bad news things that is serious. The good news is that you know what is wrong with you and the doctor can surgically repair the problem.
The Bad news is that their is a very long recovery time, it is over the TWO best Holidays and you are going to feel like you have been run over by a Tiger Tank .
and be in a lot of pain and acute discomfort.
I will keep you in my prayers and your wife as she is going to have to nurse you back to health and keep the homestead running during your recovery...
Please keep me updated if ya would.
And don't do anything vigorous and stupid with your heart condition being what it is. You are fortunate to have caught this before anything major happened...
Take it easy and we will all just enjoy your company as we have for so long.
