I finally gotthe better of it last night. I actually read some instructions on how to have the television turn on to the cable t.v. and behave like normal.
I am still going to remove all the streaming crap off of it. This set does have a really nice picture and for some reason we thought it might be a good idea to get a ROKU included on the set looking out to the future.
I think I want to just use the t.v. without the roku though..
Miz micro has this freaking entertainment armoir thingy in the living room because it has doors on it that close and hide the t.v. and it is made of cherry.
The bad nes is that it is only wide enough to hold a 40 inch wide t.v. max.
SO it really is cutting down on choices and availablity of newer televisions because of it's width. A couple of inches wider would have been nice.
I personally would like to take my circular saw, or perhaps my SAWZALL to it and remove it. I thgink we could get a nice looking entertainment television stand that we could set any size t.v. on we wanted, and still have the Sony Blue Ray player and the VCR and the thousand or so DVD movies she has accumulated.
Today I will find out how to remove the Roku information on it and use it as a normal television...
