...kid wants to know how to deal with police? He is assuming that if he gets stopped by a cop that he is somehow in charge of the situation and not the cop. My advice is to be courteous follow his instructions and don't do anything sudden or stupid. Ya can write a complaint later but on a dark street in the middle of the night is no place to confront him about what he has or does not have the authority to do. That is the same advice I have given my own grandkids.
Liberals are like a "Slinky". Totally useless, but somehow ya can't help but smile when you see one tumble down a flight of stairs!
