Nearly a year ago, on 17 November 2018 to be exact, hundreds-of-thousands of ordinary people from all across France began constructing barricades and blocking roads in a mass protest movement against high fuel prices and the high cost of living—called the Yellow Vests Movement that still rages to this day pitting millions of ordinary peoples against their out of touch with reality elite leaders—all of whom have been joined by millions of peoples violently protesting in Hong Kong for their right to remain free from communism—millions of peoples in Catalonia violently protesting Spain’s imprisoning their leaders who dared to seek independence—millions of peoples protesting in Lebanon fighting against elite corruption and demanding a new government—people now dying in Chile as millions of it citizens protest their corrupt elite government—and that now sees the peoples of Chile joined with millions of others who are today burning South America and their elite ruled governments down.
Among all the nations in the world fast plunging into the abyss of chaos, though, the United States remains the one in the greatest danger—a danger so grave, top Trump administration official Stephen Miller has just warned that his nation’s Deep State permanent bureaucracy has now become “A Mortal Threat To America”—a mortal threat being caused by these elite socialist Deep State forces conducting secret communist-style proceedings to throw from power their country’s elected leader President Donald Trump—an affront to freedom, fairness and decency so grave and severe, it saw nearly 30 lawmakers from the Republican Party storming the basement room in the US Capitol building where this secret trial of Trump is being conducted—lawmakers who represent over half of the American people—one of whom is a highly educated Major League Baseball umpire named Rob Drake, who has spent his career making just and fair decisions—but in his showing where his nation is fast heading, Tweeted out the ominous words yesterday: “I will be buying an AR-15 tomorrow, because if you impeach MY PRESIDENT this way, YOU WILL HAVE ANOTHER CIVIL WAR!!!”.
As in all perilous times such as these, we turn to our Lord’s words for guidance and wisdom—and for today sees the two most important of them being found in the Book of Ecclesiastes, Chapter 1, Verse 9, that says: “The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun.”—and—in the Book of Matthew, Chapter 9, Verse 17 that says” “Nor do they put new wine into old wineskins, or else the wineskins break, the wine is spilled, and the wineskins are ruined. But they put new wine into new wineskins, and both are preserved.”
Mentally armed with these words of guidance and wisdom given to us by our Lord, we can immediately see that the events occurring today are exactly like those occurring in the late 1700’s and early 1800’s—and was when great multitudes of peoples the world over rose up in rebellion against their elite rulers—saw many of these elite rulers making half-hearted attempts to pacify their enraged citizens—but like pouring new wine into old wineskins, saw these pacification efforts failing—the elite rulers being destroyed—all of which led to new wineskins being created to hold the new wine of freedom being pressed from the grapes of liberty newly harvested by peoples seeking the right to rule themselves.
The two greatest examples of this were the American Revolution and the French Revolution—both of which saw their nation’s peoples rising up to overthrow their elite monarchical power structure of aristocratic Kings and Queens, who believed they were ordained by God to rule over their subjects with unquestioned power and authority—but who proved no match against peoples believing that it was their God-given right to rule over themselves any way they so choose—and after many bloody wars and revolutions, saw the age of Kings and Queens disappearing—while at the same time, the age of self rule rose to replace it.
For over 300 years, the age of self rule has spread the world over—and though going by various names—has seen billions of peoples basically accepting being ruled over by governments they themselves had consented to be in power—with the major conflicts occurring between different self ruled nations having competing ideologies—such as socialist-fascism against capitalism—capitalism against socialism—and communist-socialism against everyone.
Occurring in all of these self ruled nations, however—and regardless of which ideology they espoused—the centuries have seen their leaders emulating the aristocratic monarchs they had once overthrown—an emulation spawned by human history showing that once people ascended to power, they believe it’s their right to hold on to it forever—that’s always centered among those classes of peoples rising to prominence through great wealth—and as best told about by the American Founding Father Thomas Paine who wrote:
Men who look upon themselves born to reign, and others to obey, soon grow insolent; selected from the rest of mankind their minds are early poisoned by importance; and the world they act in differs so materially from the world at large, that they have but little opportunity of knowing its true interests, and when they succeed to the government are frequently the most ignorant and unfit of any throughout the dominions.
As Founding Father Thomas Paine warned about, the vast majority of the governments in the world today are ruled over by “insolent” privileged elites whose minds are “poisoned by importance”—most of whom are some of the “most ignorant and unfit” people you’d be fortunate to never have to meet—and many of whom continue to gather in the basement of the US Capitol to conduct their secret tribunal to unjustly throw from power President Trump—but if not careful and dissuaded from the perilous path they’ve embarked upon, will, without any doubt, incur the righteous wrath of an enraged American population ready, willing and able to go to war to protect their right to choose who leads them.
