You can get yourself a first rate lawn by repeatedly chopping up the leaves with your mulching blade so that the pieces are less than a quarter inch across, adding a half inch of rice hulls, then adding about a quarter inch of Pete Moss, throwing grass clippings and horse manure across the top, watering it overnight, then calling in a professional to apply astroturf.

Gold is $1,581/oz today. When it hits $2,000, it will be up 26.5%. Let's see how long that takes. - De 3/11/2013 - ANSWER: 7 Years, 5 Months

I have one of them blades that chops stuff up and blows it out the side. I raise the deck as high as it will go cause the leaves are about knee deep when mz ribit refuses to let me ignore them any longer. I run over them about half half the width of the cutting path and then run over them again and again til there is nothing left but tiny little pieces of crap that decompose and fertilize the soil. (I spoze I will have to pay decomp a stipend of some sort for using a derivative of his name in the previous sentence). I am told ya can do the same thing with ya grass if ya put the blade at the highest point that it will cut any grass, then mow the yard, lower the blade one click and then mow the yard again. Rinse and repeat til the grass reaches a height that will shut the Queen up for awhile. There are two advanatages to this. First of all I don't have to putz with that fricken bagger and second, I can't hear mz ribit complaining about me not using the bagger or some other such trivial nonsense. Ya can't imaging how upset she gets when I run over her solar lights and or shrubbery.

While I am on it, she is also dragging her feet when it comes to cleaning up the zero turn. She thinks I should do it. I tried to "splain" that I am the pilot and that she is the ground crew, to no avail.

I wonder how long it would take me to mulch her!
