I have been participating in this organization for several years now. I cannot bear to think that some veteran went to serve and or fight for his/her country and we as the beneficiaries of that call of duty that they answered without thought of the sacrifice to themselves Answered. Many gave the ultimate sacrifice.
"Greater love hath no man than this, that he(she) would lay down their life for a friend (or fellow countryman).
I got my annual reminder in my inbox and now my thoughts and prayers are with the families and my fallen brothers.
If you do have the abilty to be charitable and have just a little extra money you could possibly spare, I would recommend this organization as well as Wounded warriors and Tummels to Towers.
I have brothers in law who are laid to rest that served in Vietnam. I make it my duty to be sure their resting place always looks the best.
God bless the families who are those who are left behind.
