The worst of the wind is past and "the plastic" (ar ar ar!) stayed "down." (Why does everything I write sound dirty now?) I'll check on it later to see if it took any damage.

The wind peaked at 22 mph around 4 a.m. and is supposed to be between 15 and 17 mph for the rest of the day. There will be windier storms, but by then maybe there'll be snow or ice keeping things in place. The rain came down in buckets overnight, but it's pretty calm out there right now.
