During the broadcast of CNN's town hall on LGBTQ issues on Thursday, 2020 Democratic presidential hopeful former Rep. Beto O'Rourke (D-TX) said religious institutions that do not agree with same-sex marriage would lose their tax-exempt status under his presidency.
Don Lemon asked, "This is from your LGBTQ plan. This is what you write. Freedom of religion is a fundamental right, but it should not be used to discriminate. Do you think religious institutions like colleges, churches, charities, should they lose their tax-exempt status if they oppose same-sex marriage?"
O'Rourke said, "Yes. There can be no reward, no benefit, no tax break for anyone or any institution, any organization in America that denies the full human rights, and the full civil rights of every single one of us. And so as president, we're going to make that a priority, and we are going to stop those who are infringing upon human rights."
Ah, Beto ... you're such a pandering, spineless, clueless lil' weenie ... and in the process, you're publicly exposing Democrats for what they truly are.
1. "Your LGBTQ plan" ... what the hell is THAT??? You planning on inviting zzshart to hold his cuddle buddy parties in The White House if you're elected POTUS?
2. The inalienable right of all U.S. citizens to hold whatever religious views they wish is DIRECTLY ENUMERATED in The United States Constitution - THE law of the land - the "right" to act out your perverted fag fantasies is NOT.
3. Pray tell, Beto ... exactly how does personally holding and expressing a belief that homosexuality is wrong and "not agreeing with same-sex marriage" constitute the denial of other people's human rights, eh? In actuality, your "LGBTQ plan," quite literally, destroys The First Amendment rights of all U.S. citizens who do not agree with your personal views, Beto. Got some news for you, Beto ... you're a worm ... no one is required to agree with you.
