Bids are way up on everything I used to track. The 3-LED headlamps I used to buy for $8, for instance, are now selling for more than that but no longer include a battery or charger. The gummy bears listed below just sold for $11. There are only twenty - which is big-time misleading since the picture on the jar clearly shows at least fifty. (The attraction is that they're made with hemp. But they're THC-free, so this is an excellent example of "a sucker being born every second.")

And how about the "Commemorate Round 1927 St. Gaudens $20 Double Eagle ***GENUINE*** 1 Quarter Troy Ounce .999 Pure"? Uh, 1 Quarter Troy Ounce of WHAT?? Definitely not gold, I'll tell you that much. Update: I eventually enlarged the image enough to read that it's copper. I couldn't see that in the small photo displayed during the auction. So it's a penny, except not even actual currency. The "winner" paid $18 for it. And if someone thinks they're at least getting a 92 year old commemorative, they're going to be disappointed again. These copies of 1927 coins are FRESHLY MINTED! Full-ounce versions are selling for 99 cents when bought in bulk on the Golden State Mint website. Quite a scam.

Gold is $1,581/oz today. When it hits $2,000, it will be up 26.5%. Let's see how long that takes. - De 3/11/2013 - ANSWER: 7 Years, 5 Months
