It's also an INTAKE line that shouldn't leak at all. It's the line that will transport the grey water from the not-yet-built house. I think the sand is just so the pipe won't shift.

They're only pounding the well this year, not putting in the pump, so they aren't holding up anything.

I'm happy with the speed of the builder and the excavator, neither of whom is feeling any pressure since the electrician is the bottleneck. (The 2nd floor won't be ready for insulation and ceiling panels until wiring and outlets are finished. And until the ceiling panels are in, I can't begin filling the floor up with my junk.

For the last several weeks, I've seen neither hide nor hair of the electrician's crew.) It's frustrating since they told me that it was a ONE WEEK job. I didn't expect them to necessarily be done in a week, but in a month? Yeah, I thought they'd be done in a month.

Unfortunately, competent electricians are hard to find. I can't afford to pi$$ this one off by badgering him to hurry up. I still need him next year for the house.
