Im glad somebody fixed Subs piston slap problem, See the black stuff in the skirts? Thats slippery stuff. This engine will never see piston slap again. Amazing the small skirts on the piston, only like 1.25" Not a wonder they get the slap...

This is what piston slap looks like. Subs boxer engine IMHO has the worst oiling system. Shut them off and over night the oil runs off the top of the pistons. No oil on the tops when ya start them in the morning.

Cylinders cleaned up nice. Have to knock off the shiny so the new rings will seat....... used a 320 grit hone.

And its a pain in the kulo getting the wrist pins in. Most engine one puts the rods on the piston then drops them into the jug. Subs ya have to put the rods on the crank then try to line up the pin hole with the rod. Little tricky but first one went right in. Im calling it a night . Dont want to press my luck LOL

Realist - Everybody in America is soft, and hates conflict. The cure for this, both in politics and social life, is the same -- hardihood. Give them raw truth.
