LOL NO WAY in heck I would use the locking nuts. I am on e person, kinda hard being inside and outside at the same time. Working on boats is different and at times a PITA LOL. someone has to hold the other end of the bolt.....

Question on the NUT. Did ya use a LOCKING NUT that won't back off over time? The kind with the nylon or vinyl inside?? Maybe use some LOCTITE thread sealer on the threads?
I oly ask because I know that this is a job you would preer NOT to repeat again in the near future...

The Boat looks amazing Nemo. You might want to simply start Captain Nemo's Boatworks Restoration ! You enjoy boats and are very talented so you could make money off of bringing used boats back to usable condition again!

I have no idea if there is a market for that but let's face it. You live in an area where there is PLENTY of WATER as well as plenty of boats of all ages... Thumbs Up Very Happy
