Question on the NUT. Did ya use a LOCKING NUT that won't back off over time? The kind with the nylon or vinyl inside?? Maybe use some LOCTITE thread sealer on the threads?
I oly ask because I know that this is a job you would preer NOT to repeat again in the near future...
The Boat looks amazing Nemo. You might want to simply start Captain Nemo's Boatworks Restoration ! You enjoy boats and are very talented so you could make money off of bringing used boats back to usable condition again!
I have no idea if there is a market for that but let's face it. You live in an area where there is PLENTY of WATER as well as plenty of boats of all ages...
Lot of fitting then screwing to hold them in place , then when everything looks right go back take out the screws and in through bolts. Goi inside the bowels' of the boat and install two washers, lock washers ,then the nut, and some of them are in very hard places to reach. Cant wait to get on the water.

seat pedestals with storage installed, The captain seats go on top of them on a steel 7" pedestal and the steering station I made out of the head/bathroom door LOL.
Got the sonar/fishfinder/speed of the boat head unit and Richie compass installed. This will be new waters for me. I gots to know where the rocks are LOL
And bought me a used chart book, Pretty handy for finding rocks and shoals. LOL
