The VAUNTED ALABAMA machine scored 47 points and allpraises to TUA for throwing 4 td passes. Yippeeeee. The fact is that Alabama is not the juggernaut is was in prior years. A not so good South Carolina team still put 27 points on the board against this so called "machine" which indicates that there is a weakness in the defense.

Georgia meanwhile did it's job playing a practice game.

Next week it's Notre Dame and Ribs, they better not lay an egg. The Irish are solid, but not great.

LSU continues to be non impressive except to people casting votes. They oplay a nobody third tier school and have 14 points scored on them and you would think LSU was playing for the world title... Give me a break.

When they start playing against real competition we will see how really good they are, or not.

Auburn beat up nobody, Texas did the same, so did Utah, and Oklahoma while Florida struggled against Kentucky clear down to the final 3 minutes of a gamne they were losing by ten. They got lucky and escaped.

Michigan State is over rated again, as is Iowa. The Big Ten is really the Big 2 still. Penn State struggled mightily against Pittsburgh. True, it was a rivalry game but PITT is not that good. And PennState was supposed to be loaded. Doesn't seem that way....

Clemson. They just keep rolling. As did Oklahoma and Ohio State. Granted the Buckeyes played Indiana at Indiana but glad they played as if it was a title game and did not let up.

Overall, a boring Saturday in college futzball....
