A 22 automatic might be good. You can get off 4
or more rounds with it while only able to shoot
one round with a 45. The 22 has no kick.

there are lots of choices in handguns. As Beldin said wisely, a GOOD instructor should be able to ask you questions and figure out from there what TYPE of handgun would likely be best suited for what YOU want it for.

Revolvers are a good choice for and fairly easy for novices. SIZE of the handgun will also make a difference depending on the weight of the gun and does it fit your hand well.

I am looking for another concealed semi auto handgun and may have just stumbled upon it earlier today after many hours of looking, researching, and holding in my hand and in a conceal holster.
