I noticed that the United States Postal Service is hiring and starting pay is over $72,000 per year. Of course a postal exam is required to be sure that you are not below 90 IQ points. However, MOST people who lost a job due to their company's closing can go apply immediately at the Post Office and get paid a lot more with more benefits and the Post Office is NOT going out of business anytime soon.

Question. Could we find a website that focuses on all the new hires and number of people who came off the unemployment rolls???? There has to be one available as this one appears to focus solely on the normal day to day and decade over decade things that happen in business. There are those wo survuve and do well and then there are times when, like in AK STEEL's case, as the plant in Ashland has been IDLE for over THREE YEARS (nobody reported on that aspect) it is only a smart move to finally close it.

Yet for three years those people who were finally displaced received a paycheck and had employment and plenty of time to look for other opprtunites.

ASHLAND Kentucky is not a small town. I have been through there several times and it is pretty large with gasoline refineries there as well.

So that website focuses on the negative aspects of business in America only. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. I wonder whatthe political affiliation might be????

No GOOD NEWS on that site....
