I am confient that miz ribit would not wish to disturb the King with a measley intruder inside yer castle Sire!

You are indeed a blessed man to have such a wonderfully talented personal bodyguard and wife in one!! Thumbs Up Cheesy Grin

Sorry I am late. I just got back home from the day meeting with clients in Columbus.

Ifen I hit that sucker once subsonic with a Jacketed Hollow point that round should splinter into several internal rounds of damage that likely if it didn't kill the target, it would wish it was no longer among us breathing.

BUT, if one round is good, it takes but a split second to squeeze off a second one. Reflexes still pretty good.

Thanks for the advice Ribs! Thumbs Up Very Happy

...9mm in the 147 grain HP is fine. It's only a few grains less mass than the .40 and has about the same velocity. Just remember to double tap your target.

...2 1/2 #4 shot is adequate and does not punish the shooter. I have a 12 gauge and a .20 gauge and prefer tthe .20 for home defense as the wife can use it as well and the recoil won't scare her. I have also taught her a little hand to hand so she can dispatch an intruder without waking me up which is a plus.
