How much did the handgun ammunition cost you? Was it a deep-discount fire sale or pretty much regular prices?

My wife and I stopped by Wal-mart today and picked up 400 rounds of .45 and 400 rounds of 9mm. We no longer have any firearms (due to a horrible boating accident), but ammunition keeps forever and is an excellent investment.

Another customer at the counter was relieved that we didn't buy up the last of the .223. The chain will sell off what it has but won't re-stock.

Remember: Every patriotic American should have at least one each of:

o .22 rifle,
o Shotgun,
o Hunting rifle,
o Handgun.

And, of course a minimum of 1,000 rounds stockpiled for every gun. Much more than that for the .22s.
