...last night the talking heads on ESPN was saying that Notre Dame won "handily" as expected. I dunno what that means. I am still concerned about them playing my Dawgs, more because I have seen the Dawgs go into a game 'overconfident' and lose to an inferior opponent. A wise old football coach who's name I can't remember at the moment said, "It is hard to tell what an 18 year old kid is going to do when he is running down a football field with your career under his arm."

Sire
after watching a vastly outweighed, much larger with bunches of top tier sought after p layers on Notre Dame STRUGGLE against a Louisville team with a new coach, a new system, and players not nearly a highly rated or prized as what Notre Dame has, what will the team from South Bend do against REAL top notch highly rated football programs ?

That scrawny defensive line of Louisvilles was outweighed by at least 50 pounds per man and yet gave ND fits. So if a team can put pressure on the QB that ESPN kept telling us how great he was, I do not see ND as unbeatable and in fact, will wind up with at least 2 losses and perhaps 3.

It will be interesting to see how much oohs and aaaahs happen from the sports raters after this very big underperformance against Louisville.
