Oh my. Where do we begin?

How about the great state of Texas where those really tough AGGIES from A&M lambasted and frolicked over the hapless third world football team from a no nothing football school. Thus, Jimbo Fisher insured a romp on his opening day game. Pathetic..... C'mon man...... Grow a pair and play somebody.

Utah versus BYU. Well, not much can be said for the BYU Cougars football team this season either. They looked hapless and helpless. Utah is a decent team. BUT they were made to look much better than they are by a team that is simply not a good team. But Utah players were happy hey got a Win on their opner as well. It's a shame because I remember when BYU actually had decent teams..

The Rambling Wreck looked the part. Georgia Tech should have juststayed home and watched television. They would have done just as well. Nothing to see there.

Prolly the best game of the evening was on ESPN where my ALUM University of Cincinati Bearcats played host to the UCLA Bruins. This was a more even match up because neither team is great and both are trying to get back to the top 25 rankings. UCLA has a little farther to go than the Bearcats who are making progress with Luke Fickel as head coach and who has brought a new work ethic and better talen to the team.
We won but it was fun to watch.

Moving on to the NFL.

The Indianapolis DOLTS beat the hapless Bungles at Cincinnati for the final game of preseason.

Now the losses will actually count for the Bungles who will be the cellar dweller in thier division.
There is no profesional football in Cincinnati again this season.
So Ineed a new team to call my own. I like winners. I played o State Title high school football teams and we did not like to lose or the thought of losing. My team won TWO state BIG SCHOOL championships vback in early 70's. SO I play to win and like to win. THAT sis where the competitive fires come from.

Anyway, who is going to have a fun and exciting pro football team this year?

I am looking to adopt a team to root for.... And it ain't in Cincinnati. Or Cleveland either. Glad I do not actuallylive in Cincinnati. I would be embarrassed.

BAck to College Football.

A couple of good games to watch this weekend where Oregon and Auburn play each other ina pretty good matchup.

Georgia will play a patsy as will Ohio State. Don't know about Alabama.

My favorite team is anyone who beats Notre Dame.

and that's a wrap for college futzball...... Very Happy
