In terms of weight and variety, the photo below is a typical daily haul right now. The large red "Celebrities" have hit their peak and the "Yellow Pear" tomatoes have just begun. Today is the first time I've picked any of them (I didn't plant them 'til 6/21/2019).

The Celebrities that aren't as red were lying on the ground when I watered today. A few drop on their own every day- some of them are ripe and others are completely green. I put the ones that need more time into the greenhouse on my deck - not into a box, Zimbler. The heat and light do a good job of ripening them, usually over 3-4 days.

The black-light method of finding tomato hornworms is great. The first time I went out, I found about 20... most very small. The second time, I found 6... mid-sized. I haven't been out a third time but I need to. I found two in daylight over the last two days and both were huge (circa 4" long).

My second batch of tomato plants are gigantic... the biggest I've ever grown and far larger than the Celebrities I first planted this year. The biggest are about 9' tall, and I planted them too close together. Therefore, it's hard to get into them with the black light in order to find all the worms.

Your dog ate them???? GREAT DOG, He looks happy and full........... Good job on the maitters lots of nice fruit for winter months.
