If memory serves me correctly . . .
In 2008 GE and PFE cut their dividends. And I believe I had shares in a
banking type company which lost almost all its value . . and no more dividend.

But my 'major holdings' - Dominion Resources (D) and Heinz and many others
just kept paying out.

There are companies called 'Dividend Aristocrats'. Companies which have
been increasing their dividend every year for over 25 years. NONE of those
cut their dividends.

And an even more select list - Dividend Kings - have been increasing the
dividends for over fifty years. Coca-Cola (KO) and Proctor & Gamble (PG)
are two Dividend Kings I own some of.

The only thiong that gets me is , in 2008 I couldn't believe the companies that canceled divies. Thats what I saw. In a big crash things do change, like paying divies zimmer. I'm just thinking about YOUR investments. Big market drops can change a lot of things, including dives. I wish you the best of luck in this NEW market environment. Things are NOT as they were!!!!!!!

ALGOS come to mind, they have no conscience N are ONLY headline driven,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,They can trade 100,000 trades in a MILA SECOND, Do you know how fast that is??? Me neither LOOL.............


I have no skin in this scam market, I see differently then those that are all fuzzy about the price of the scam market. Dats all...
