Gee. Cuban is now espousing the very same thing Dave Ramsey talks and teaches people about for years and I have employed that same principle about 30 years ago.
Here is the fallacy of this.
You will not "MAKE" 16% just because yu pay off credit cards. You simplywill not be penalized with high carrying charges.
What about the person who does not carry any balances on credit cards or anything else? How are they earning a 16% return Mr. Cuban???
What a cheap dog and pony show.
ANY MORON can figure out if you do not pay credit card companies or lenders late fees or high interest rates you will save yourself money.
But THAT is not the same as taking money you have and making 16% on it.
This title on the article is shuck and jive.
Cuban may be very rich but this is misleading to say the least.
