Remember Hurricane Katrina? My paper did a front page spread
on how one of our home town ships (U.S. Navy Bataan, I think)
followed Katrina into New Orleans . . and was doing search and
rescue with its helicopters. (Bataan is a helicopter carrier -
amphibious assault ship.) And LCAC's (Landing Craft - Air
Cushion). The day before that utter lying moron krugman pompously
declared that 'The Bush Administration did nothing to prepare
for Katrina'.
But in more recent times they seem to have turned to the dark
side. And the circulation is down considerably from what it
used to be.
