I've got enough black plastic for 800 feet of paths through the back yard. As you can see, I've laid maybe 200 feet of it already. I also have a lot of things that are difficult to mow around: trees, fences, a mailbox, etc. I may as well put plastic and wood chips around those things too. Hm. Maybe even my house since we don't really have termites here. Anything to make life easier in the long run. Now that I've met the owner of the wood chips, I have a practically unlimited supply. He's invited me to help myself from the piles near his driveway. I haven't been there yet, but I gather that he's got a LOT.
