A massive 6.4 earthquake rocked Southern California on Thursday morning at 10:33 AM local time.
The quake, which was centered in the Searles Valley (apprx 120 miles northeast of Los Angeles) was initially reported to be a 6.6, however, it was later revised to a 6.4.
The shaking was widely felt and people reported feeling the earthquake all the way in Las Vegas, Nevada.
There have also been multiple aftershocks with a magnitude of 4.0 or larger.
Thursday’s quake was the largest temblor to hit Southern California in decades.
