depends on where ya live.
In my ntire region there is an acute housing shortage. As fast as a home goes up for sale there are at l;east five offers within one single day. Housing is so tight that prices are soaring. My house is now worth 50 percent more than what would be market value a year ago. As are all other houses. My neice and several freinds are realtors and they have all told me the same thing.
My daughter wants my wife and I to sell our house and move over to one going to go up for sale provately about ten houses away from her. I asked whatthe asking price of that house was. I was STUNNED by the number.
No thanks. I will be very happy to keep mine which I personally designed and buolt back in 1977 for my wife and I to live in w2hen the kids were gone. Itis 100 percent exterior Brick veneered. Plenty big for us and not hard to keep clean.
That said, I can sell this one for over 50 % more than market value. That is how tightthe housingmarket really is here.
Thepoint is simply that it all depends on the region where you live... Greater Cinicnnati, he entire southwest corner of Ohio covering four counties, is like that.
