Uploaded Image The short block is painted black. Subaru doesn't paint their blocks. It is a rebuilt shortblock andf the tranny looks like its new or rebuilt. It doesn't show the 250,000 miles that are on the car. I think I got a great deal for $300!!!!!!!!!!!!
