Yeah, but the BIG difference is that the protesters did not and were not allowed to run rampant in the streets, destroying property, and assaulting people. Their "protest" was well-controlled. When that lunatic started shooting, the BLM protesters ran for their lives and the police moved in. In California, Oregon, and Washington, they are given a free hand to do pretty much whatever they want. That ain't gonna fly here.
