You would love my brother in law's 2001 Lexus LS430

This car is amazing. SOLID and QUIET. LUXURIOUS interior and way ahead of its time. This car has over 300,000 miles on it and other than a timing belt change and brakes and occsional belt or hose, this has not had ANY issues at all and still has original exhaust pipes and muffler.

The interior is so quiet and super comfortable to ride in and I rode in back seat for a little trip we made togther with my sister and Tom as well as my wife.

This car was built to last and it does not disappoint...

I think the Subaru will be fine with a newer Tranny with fewer miles on it. It appears immaculate from the photos so it might have been well taken care of..

Just some thoughts...

Re: "only 166,000 on it....."
I don't know about this one. Vehicles last a lot longer than they used to but my gut says that most cars these days are good for 200,000 miles and not too much more. If I were a buyer, 166,000 miles would scare me off.

Don't get me wrong. I like my Town & Country minivan which now has 215,000 miles. But part of what I like about it is that I can hardly believe it has lasted this long.
