You're welcome. Rhino Shield is huge around here as well but our wather in winter is mild compared to yours.

The Picnic Table.
1. Did you apply a GOOD quality PRIMER on the wood first?
2.Outdors? Use an acrylic enamel over an oil base primer.

It will last...

That's for sure. Would you believe that the picnic table I painted last year already needs to be painted again? Maybe it wouldn't have had a problem if I had applied two coats, but I figured that Behr exterior would hold up for at least a while.

Rino Shield sounds great. I painted a rental house some years ago with an agricultural paint normally used on tractors. It was far more durable than ordinary paint and is probably similar to what you are describing. When it comes time to paint, I will see if I can find it.

BTW, I couldn't believe that the name was Rino Shield (as in, Republican-In-Name-Only). I don't know if I could buy paint with a name like that! So I checked and it is actually called Rhino Shield.
