regarding the Donald's rally last night:
There has been much debate over how the media should handle the president's aggressive and unprecedented attacks on a free and adversarial press. Last night, Fox News was, unsurprisingly, the only major cable news network to air Trump's full speech. CNN took the first few minutes live, but quickly jumped to analysis after a massive chant of "CNN sucks!" broke out and the president immediately riffed briefly on the “fake news” in the room. MSNBC chose not to air any of the event live.
Fox News host and media reporter Howard Kurtz lambasted the rival networks for their programming decisions, accusing MSNBC and CNN of showing a "lack of class" and warning it "raises questions how they’ll cover this entire campaign."
