For $289, I would consider doing it your way.

But at this point in my life, I would have topsoil delivered and level it that way.

Ya have to let it settle first. Might take a year.

But it seems like you have way too many projects right now.

For now, a bigger challenge is finding a place to put it. I'm on a hillside. There are hardly any places in my yard that are level, and digging up the dirt is *hard*. It's about half rock. I'm giving serious thought to renting a tiny excavator from Home Depot to level as many places as I can - for this thing, for the trailers to sit on, and for gardening. $289 for 24 hours.
