That lasted about a month, until a boy scout threw up twice in quick succession all over the back seat and floor. The stupid kid vomited UPWARD instead of downward. ("He looked like a fountain," my son later said.)

...ya just can't take a bunch of boyscouts out drinkin and carousing in stripper bars like my scout leaders did with us. They just ain'r up to the pressure or intense partying.

Re: "Glad ya finally saw the light."
I haven't "finally" seen the light. I've disliked Chevrolet since the '80s when my brother bought a Corvette and I saw all kinds of dumb problems befall it. You'd think that an expensive car would be ESPECIALLY well made. Nope. Not if it's a Chevy.

I bought the 2007 Silverado in 2008 when it had 7,000 miles on it. The owner, a police officer, had purchased it in a special arrangement Chevrolet had for the police. I think he paid around $27,000. The truck's sticker price had been over $35,000. I got it for $20,000. It still had the new car smell! That lasted about a month, until a boy scout threw up twice in quick succession all over the back seat and floor. The stupid kid vomited UPWARD instead of downward. I've always been a sucker for a bargain. That's the only reason I bought it.

However, a week before moving out of California in 2005, we bought a Chrysler minivan. Wonderful vehicle. It has 215,000 miles on it now and it's still running great.
