Re: "Looks like you get the roof on it you could move right on in. Cars and all."Thanks. There's a lot to do. Today we decided that the 1st floor garage really SHOULD be concrete instead of dirt. The builder says it's not too late to change that. It won't cost more to do it now than it would have initially. I approved the change. I don't know what it will cost, but I'm guessing $15k. The other sizeable expenses will be for the well, the septic system, windows, doors and garage doors, trusses (which have been ordered and will be delivered), the metal roof and the crane for installing the trusses.

Then the builder is going to take a break and go work on some other projects that can only be done when the weather is nice. Then, in the fall or winter, he'll resume with insulation, interior walls, coordinating with the plumber and electrician and I don't know what else.

It's a long way from complete. But except for the roof, the future changes may not be as impressive or obvious as what you've seen these last few weeks.
