.22s are a bit small for coyotes, don't you think? - unless the goal is to make them suffer.

I expect I'll be shooting [at] coyotes occasionally, especially after I start raising chickens or sheep. But I'l use a .223, not a .22. .22s are great for smaller game. Coyotes can be the size of German Shepherds.
