there was a air block in the heater core, wouldn't let water circulate and the thermostat was wrong for the car and was stuck shut gezzzzzzz no wonder it overheated. It took an hour and a half to burp the system. Had to squeeze all the hoses, heater hoses as well, That is where I got most of the bubbles when burping it. I had no idea, and come to find out the 2003 outback is the worst year for burping the system, it has a high spot that wont allow bubbles to go to the highest spot from the lowest. Leave it to me to by the worst of an issue car......LOL She runs good...........
