...I think that answer is most of it. If Trump found a cure for leprosy they would find something wrong with it and bitch about it.

Second, because tariffs cause domestic price increases, and Democrats don't get exempted from that the way they usually do with so-called progressive taxes. Democrats have never met a tax ON SOMEBODY ELSE that they didn't like.
