I am fixin' to send this off to my local liberal rag of a paper. I think it is a start.
As a 19 year daily subscriber I read the ______ Journal cover to cover and all letters to the editor. The current political climate has become blatantly biased as 90%+ of articles are negative towards the current President. This can be directly attributed to a flawed and imperfect man and the fact that 87% of journalists are registered Democrats. We are constantly bombarded with negativity (or positivity, depending on your perspective) and the common thread seemingly is how quick all people are to criticize, divide and tear each other down without even offering any potential solutions discussing the serious issues facing America. Teddy Roosevelt said, Complaining about a problem without posing a solution is called whining. To that end maybe we can start a discussion for the benefit of all Americans.
My top three suggestions are:
1) Impose TERM LIMITS on all levels of all governmental bodies Nationwide.
2) ELIMINATE the IRS (repealing the 16th Amendment) and implement the http://www.fairtax.org plan.
3) Overturn the Invention Secrecy Act of 1951 http://fas.org/sgp/othergov/invention/35usc17.html & implement a "Manhattan Style" project and scour the USPTO (United States Patent Office) and Global Patent Offices to "REdiscover" cheap or FREE energy for the planet.
